King pin size and RFQ checklist
Updated 2026-10-14
Measure or read the king pin size (2 inch or 3.5 inch / 90mm), send any buyer code such as KZ1012 or KP0885, note bolt-in vs replaceable, then add quantity and destination.
King pins are sized in inches or millimetres. Mixing 2 inch and 3.5 inch / 90mm on one purchase line is a common RFQ error this guide is meant to stop.
Size classes on this site
2 inch is the smaller class. 3.5 inch / 90mm is the larger class. Do not mix them on one line.
Buyer codes
KZ1012 is cataloged with the 2 inch class. KP0885 is cataloged with the 3.5 inch / 90mm class. Those codes are search names buyers already use; Carmally does not claim the trademarks.
Mounting notes
Bolt-in pins need a photo or sketch of the bolt pattern when the drawing is not on file.

FAQ
Is 90mm the same as 3.5 inch?
Buyers treat them as the same larger size class on this desk. Confirm the number on your old pin before the purchase order.
Can I quote without a buyer code?
Yes, if the size and mount style are clear. A photo of the bolt pattern helps bolt-in pins.
