How to quote truck and trailer parts by OE number

Updated 2026-10-14

Paste the OE or casting number from the part, add quantity and destination, and Carmally returns a procurement quote from China — without inventing fitment from a truck model year.

Heavy-duty aftermarket rows are identified by the number on the part, not by a passenger-car style year-make-model picker. This guide is the template Carmally uses when a buyer asks what to send.

What counts as an OE number here

Carmally treats the stamped, molded, or invoice code as the quote key. Buyers also write FMSI-style lining numbers, chamber types such as T30/30, and industry cross-references. The desk quotes the code you send; it does not invent a second number to win the click.

  • Casting or tag number on the old part
  • Type class when that is what buyers publish (for example T30/30)
  • Cross-reference codes you already purchase under — mark them as cross-refs

What not to send alone

A truck model year without the number on the part usually comes back as a question. Axle brand folklore and marketplace titles are weak substitutes for the code on the casting.

RFQ checklist

Use this list on every inquiry. Empty fields are better than guesses.

  • Company name and a mailbox someone reads
  • OE list, one code per line
  • Quantity per line
  • Destination (port, warehouse, or country)
  • Photo of the tag when the number is hard to read

Steps

  1. 01Read the OE, casting, or FMSI-style number on the tag, casting, or old invoice.
  2. 02Write quantity, destination port or warehouse, and any packing notes.
  3. 03Send the list through the Carmally RFQ form with a reachable company email.
  4. 04Reply to the desk if a photo of the tag or a measurement is requested.

FAQ

Can Carmally quote without an OE number?

Sometimes, if you send clear measurements and photos. Most lines still need a number before the desk can price a row instead of opening a search.

Is Carmally the manufacturer?

No. Carmally is a China-based procurement desk. Partner plants make or stock the goods after you accept a quote.

Why is there no year-make-model selector?

Fleet parts move across axles and rebuild cycles. The number on the part is the record the desk can check. A vehicle menu would pretend to know fitment Carmally does not publish.

Ready to send numbers?

Use the same RFQ inbox as the quote page. Paste the OE list and the desk replies by email.
