What to put in a brake chamber RFQ
A brake chamber RFQ needs the size pair on the tag (for example T30/30), whether the stroke is standard or long, and a photo of the clamp band — a truck model year alone is not enough to price.

Read the stamp before you open the form
Heavy-duty chambers are sold by the size class cast or tagged on the can. Carmally keeps separate pages for T30/30 standard stroke, T30/30 long stroke, T24/30, T20/24, T16/24, and service-only Type 24, 16, and 12 cans.
- Size pair: T30/30, T24/30, T20/24, T16/24, or a single service type
- Stroke: standard versus long (LS)
- Construction: spring brake versus service-only
What to attach
A clear photo of the clamp-band tag beats a marketplace title. If the stamp is worn, photograph the pushrod side so the desk can see whether a spring housing is present.
What not to send alone
A tractor model year, an axle brand story, or “Type 30 for a trailer” without the second number usually comes back as a question. Empty fields are better than guesses.
Questions
Is T3030 the same as T30/30?
Yes on Carmally. Both strings open the same standard-stroke page. Long stroke still needs an LS mark.
Can I quote a service chamber from a spring-brake page?
No. Service-only Type 24, 16, and 12 have their own rows. A slash size such as T24/30 means a spring brake.
