Slack adjusters need the spline
An automatic slack adjuster quote needs the OE plus the spline and arm measured on the removed part — R801073 is 1.5 inch-28 with a 5.5 inch arm, and other codes are not assumed to match.

Why the arm alone is not enough
Two adjusters can share a similar casting shape and still use different splines. Carmally will not invent a spline from a truck model. The desk prices the number you send after matching the catalog row.
How to measure on the bench
Count the spline teeth and note the nominal diameter (for example 1.5 inch-28). Measure the arm from the camshaft centerline to the clevis pin center. Write both numbers on the RFQ next to the OE.
- OE or cross-reference on the casting
- Spline diameter and tooth count
- Arm length to the clevis
Catalog rows that stay separate
R801073 publishes the 1.5 inch-28 / 5.5 inch pair. R803110 and CS56040 stay on their own pages and still require spline and arm confirmation on the RFQ.
Questions
Can I order R803110 using the R801073 spline?
No. Those codes are separate rows. Measure the part you removed.
What if the casting has no OE?
Send clear photos of the spline face and arm with a ruler. The desk opens a search instead of inventing a number.
